Support Team Kendell

Our family and friends will be walking again this year in the Great Strides - A Walk to Cure Cystic Fibrosis. Support Team Kendell by either walking, donating... or both :) It is a fun lieasure walk, with food and prizes... we'd love to have you!
Here is our letter with some information on the fundraising efforts:

Dear Family and Friends,
Its time once again for the annual “Great Strides – A walk to Cure Cystic Fibrosis.” Thank you so much for your generous donations last year. Finding a cure for Cystic Fibrosis means a great deal to us because one of our own family members has been diagnosed with CF.

Kendell was diagnosed with CF when she was six months old. Cystic Fibrosis is a genetic disease where defective genes create thick mucus in the lungs and digestive tract. This thick mucus leads to chronic and life-threatening lung infections and impairs digestion. Cystic Fibrosis currently affects 30,000 children in the United States. Currently there is no cure.

Kendell is now 8 years old and is doing well due to the wonderful doctors who treat her and the continuous research being done by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Scientists are closer than ever to finding a cure, and with your donations we can help. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has been voted the #1 health charity in a study done by the New York Times.
Our family will be participating in the annual CF walk on May 22nd at the MTC Park in Ogden. You can participate by either collecting pledges and walking with us or by making a donation. Please help us find a cure for this disease!

Thank you,

I am sending my donation of
$25.00_____ $50.00_____ $100.00_____ $200.00_____ Other_______

nine years

I can't believe another year has come and gone since I married Bryce. I'm starting to feel first hand, what it feels like to get a little older, married nine years, what? It's been a great journey and I wouldn't have done it any other way. Today was a special anniversary, it being Easter Sunday, and LDS conference, so we did our celebrating yesterday. We had a late lunch early dinner at Rodizios, then off to the spa where we were treated like royalty. 90 minute couples massages and then 60 minute facials and of course it never seems long enough. It was an expensive date when all said and done, maybe next year it would be cheaper to just get me a diamond or something. wink wink. I'm just sayin. ANYWAY. I think of the Adam Sandler song you used to sing to me, if I'am going to get old, "I wanna grow old with you" I love you, thanks for being my rock, my best friend, my jokster, and most of all my husband. Looking forward to what the future brings us.......

Here are some pictures of our day nine years later,

sucker

When I work all day long, rush to an 8:00 primary meeting, didn't get home until 10:00. I promise you, I would never have let a salesman come into my home at 9:00, have my office completely moved out into my entry/hallway so that he could sell me on how dirty my carpets are....the kid didn't leave until 12:30am, and now thanks to the sucker I call my husband, I'm a proud new owner of one of these really expensive bad boys........And by the way, I think it's really funny that my husband cares at all, he's maybe picked one of these up 5 times in our almost 9 years of marriage.

He is just like my dad. Why is it so hard to just say no to people? I say no to him all the time :)

I promise

I will never judge a person again that chooses to walk around in-doors with there sunglasses on.......they could have woken up to this. ??? (keep in mind, I'm at my worst here, no makeup)

Hope you had a good laugh!

Valentines= Hot Hot Hot

Ok you dirty little minds, it's not what your thinking. Bryce surprised me with taking me to St. George for valentines, so the weather wasn't quit "hot hot hot", but it was warm. I'll admit it, I needed a catchy title so that people would read, I guess I just haven't been feelin the love lately from my fellow bloggers. Anyways, as I was saying, we went to St. George with my parents, and we had a lot of fun. The guys got to go golfing while we hit some stores. We got to go to the St. George Parade of Homes, pretty pretty pretty. We ate out at all our favorite restaurants, and did I mention how warm it was? It was a much needed vacation and it was a lot of fun, thanks mom and dad, your always good for a laugh or two. The down side was that I was sick pretty much the whole time, most of the fabulous restaurants that we went to, I could not taste the food one bit, sad. Oh well, there's always next time. This was my first time back to St. George since we sold our house down there over a year ago, I miss it, but am soooooo glad that we sold when we did. I forgot how beautiful it is down there, it was so nice to get a reminder. Happy Valentines Day love, I love you to pieces.

another year

Well if you're like me, you're also wondering, "where in the heck did 2009 go?" It was a great year with Bryce, can't complain about business because we still have one, we both had a good healthy year and were truly blessed every day. I can't wait to see what the 2010 year will bring us. Here's to another great year! (I think it's going to be my year)

Merry Christmas to me

I have a lovely tree that I should have been totally content with, but after moving a few more times, my 7.5ft tree just doesn't fit up stairs with my 20ft something ceilings. So my tree ends up downstairs where it looks normal, which means, I don't ever get to really enjoy it. For the past few years I have been bugging Bryce to let me get a new tree, but both he and I have been kinda avoiding it knowing that this would cost some money. So this year I came up with a plan to get me a new tree, a plan that would work for both of us, if I get this tree, this will be my Christmas present, then he doesn't have to worry about getting me anything.....it's a win win! And I have to say worth every penny, I love love love my new tree, I find myself staring at it and smiling. I love this time of year and especially my new present. Great idea Janica and hey....thanks for the present Bryce.

who finished on top?

There was a gal in our neighborhood that wanted to do this couples golf league. You get to play different courses through out the summer, and at the same time, spend time with your loved one doing something that we both enjoy. We got together a few weekends ago and had dinner at the Timbermine with the rest of the golfers and found out who the winners were. I was the best women's golfer and then Bryce and I won the best couple golfers. We both got hats, gloves, golf balls, tees, and I got a gift certificate to get my toes done. I'm not sure it's that much of an accomplishment however, I don't know how many of the other teams finished playing all the courses, not sure if we really care, we are the CHAMPS, wooohooo!

"Thanks" Day

I have so much to be thankful for. This past week I have looked around my house and have been reminded of my blessings. Here are some of the things that I saw and took pictures of, of course they aren't all of the things I'm thankful for, but you get the idea........enjoy, and Happy Thanksgiving!

Halloween

Well this year for Halloween I just wanted to hang out after passing out candy, and watch a scary movie. My parents came over along with Jamie and Parker. They wanted to dress up last minute, so we did, it was pretty fun to see them in there costumes.
Thanks for the fun night! Happy Halloween!!!

More pictures to come, I need to get them from my mom.
